Weddings

Each wedding is unique and should be customized to suit your requirements. Having a piper play for you on your wedding day will draw attention and help you celebrate your special day with style and class. If you would prefer background music, or a quieter version of the pipes is desired, another option may be the small pipes, electronic bagpipes or whistle, either as a solo instrument or an accompaniment with a vocalist or another musician.
Although there are many opportunities for a musical interlude, my most frequent requests are:
  •     During the processional
  •     During the signing of the registry
  •     During the recessional
  •     Piping in the head table at the reception
I would be pleased to help you select the music for your wedding. For a sample of some suggested tunes, please refer to MUSIC SAMPLES. If you have any special requests, please don’t hesitate to ask, as I have an extensive repertoire.

Funerals

Bagpipers have been used for centuries to mark the passing of loved ones. The emotional stir of the bagpipes makes the use of a piper at a funeral very appropriate. Bagpipes are increasingly being recognized all over the world, as the ideal commemorative for a departed loved one.

There are a number of tunes that are appropriate for playing at funerals. Some of my suggestions can be heard in my MUSIC SAMPLES on the home page, and if there is a special request that you don’t see on the list, please don’t hesitate to ask. The tribute to your loved one should be customized to suit their passing.
