McPherson's Rant, Celtic-Folk Band
McPherson's Rant has entertained audiences with their rich harmonies and fine instrumentals since 2001. The group has six talented members and several instruments including fiddle, mandolin, banjo, guitars, bouzouki, bass, keyboards, bodhran drum, snare drum, Highland bagpipes, small Walsh pipes, Irish whistles and, of course, vocals. They perform traditional Celtic and down East music, favourites by the Pogues and Great Big Sea, Canadian folk and popular music with a Celtic twist. The College of Piping & Celtic Performing Arts
The College of Piping and Celtic Performing Arts of Canada, based in Summerside, Prince Edward Island, has been actively promoting and preserving Celtic culture and heritage by offering instruction in Highland Bagpiping, Scottish style Snare Drumming, Highland Dancing and Step Dancing. The Eastern United States Pipe Band Association
The Eastern United States Pipe Band Association (EUSPBA) is a non-profit, tax exempt organization dedicated to improving all aspects of solo and band bagpipe and drums music. Generally, the focus is on the Great Highland Bagpipes, the Scottish snare drum, the tenor drum, the bass drum and the performance of drum majors.
