Kelly offers private lessons in her home to students of all ages and various levels of ability. In order to get started, students will need a practice chanter, a reed and motivation.

You can purchase a starter kit from Kelly, including a practice chanter, a reed, a College of Piping Book (Volume #1) and an instructional CD for only $99 Canadian. The cost of a practice chanter including a reed is $69.00 Canadian.

If you would prefer to try first and buy later, Kelly has practice chanters available on a rental basis for $10.00 per week. The reed is included with the initial rental, however, if a reed is damaged, the cost for replacement will be at the student’s expense. Reeds should last for several months or even years if cared for properly.

The cost of private lessons is $20 for a 45-minute lesson or $25 per hour.

COMING SOON: Video tutoring provides students with a variety of exercises and tunes appropriate for various levels of ability. Each student will have full access to all available lessons. In conjunction with the audio provided, I encourage the use of the program Audacity, which offers many features including the ability to adjust the tempo of the recordings without changing the pitch. There are several other features available on Audacity, which I believe will enhance your practicing experience and accelerate your progress.
